About खड़क
If you go deep into Mumbai’s busy Bhendi Bazaar, through the jumble of people and pushcarts, you can find a street called Khadak.
Founded by Chef Naved Nasir, former culinary director of Dishoom, Khadak pays tribute to the legacy shops on India’s food streets and the regional recipes fading from them by the day.

An old villa in Jumeirah became the home for this idea, bringing together food, art, music and stories from across India. The space comes alive through hand-painted murals inspired by the characters you might find on a typical food street, with little messages and details hidden across the villa for guests to discover. A carefully put-together playlist ties it all together, giving Khadak a character of its own.
